Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy

At Twisted Artificer, we take pride in crafting arcane instruments of pleasure with care and intention. While we strive for perfection, even the most dedicated workshop can produce a quirk or two. Here’s how we handle cancellations, returns, and refunds should something go awry:

Order Cancellations

Orders from our inventory can only be cancelled before they are packed and shipped. Once your order enters the fulfillment phase, it is bound by ritual (and logistics) and cannot be reversed. If you need to cancel, contact us as soon as possible with your order number.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the intimate nature of our products, returns and refunds are only available for items that are unopened and unused. We cannot accept returns of opened items under any circumstance.

If your item is still sealed in its original packaging, you may initiate a return within 7 days of delivery by emailing us at [your email address]. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Inspect Before You Unseal

Before breaking the seal on your new toy, we ask that you inspect it while it is still in the bag. If you notice any defects — such as surface imperfections or issues that could affect safe use — please email us at [your email address] with the following:

• Clear photos of the issue (while the item remains sealed)
  
• A brief description of the problem
  
• Your order number

We will review your case and may offer one of the following resolutions based on the severity:

• A partial refund
  
• A replacement
  
• A full refund, if warranted

Please note: This policy does not apply to Anomalies, which are sold as-is (see below).

About Anomalies

Anomalies are toys that exhibit cosmetic imperfections — such as air bubbles, surface nicks, or pour irregularities — that do not affect their safety or functionality, but may require extra care or cleaning.

Each Anomaly is clearly marked on the product page, with the specific issue noted and the item sold at a discount. These are considered final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or replacement.

Color Variations

We do not offer refunds or discounts for color discrepancies on inventory toys. We strive to present accurate photos, but colors may appear differently depending on screen calibration, lighting, and other factors beyond our control.

Additionally, we cannot guarantee exact color matches between product drops. Variations in pigment behavior, silicone curing, ambient temperature, and pour technique can all influence the final appearance. While we aim for consistency, each toy is ultimately a one-of-a-kind creation.
